Miss Rodeo Missouri Contestant Eligibility

A. Each contestant must have obtained the age of 19 yrs. and shall not have reached the age of 26 by December 31st of the year she
would compete at the national pageant.  A copy of the birth certificate must accompany the entry application.

B. The entry application, which includes a waiver of liability, must be signed by the contestant as well as a parent or guardian if the
contestant is under 21 years of age.

C. Each contestant shall not have been a previous Miss Rodeo Missouri, nor shall have previously competed in the Miss Rodeo
America pageant.

D. Each contestant must be a citizen of the United States of America and a legal resident for one year of the state of Missouri.

E. Must be single and shall never have been married, had a marriage annulled or ever been pregnant.

F. Must comply with all rules and regulations outlined herein.  The Miss Rodeo Missouri pageant reserves the right to disqualify any
contestant for rule infractions.  They also have the right to deny anyone who has been disqualified or title taken away at the Miss
Rodeo Missouri Pageant.

G. Must not have been charged or convicted of a felony.

H. Must provide own health insurance

I. Must have obtained a high school diploma or equivalent of high school education.

J. Have executed all consents and or waivers of liability presented as conditions precedent to competition.

All contestants will be judged on the following:
Horsemanship - you will do a set pattern which will be mailed to you after we get your applications, entry fee and
pictures.  And then you will do a 11/2 minute free style pattern, which you will make up yourself.
Appearance and personality in all divisions..  Extemporaneous questions at the fashion show and speech
luncheon,  2 minute speech on the State of Missouri and a 1 minute interview.
Modeling:  You will model one arena outfit and one western dress outfit.  You will also be doing an innovative outfit
on your Favorite Movie Character.
You will also be given a written test over Rodeo, Horses, and Equine Science.  This test starting this year will count
for points and they will be worth 50 pts.

You will be coming in on July 17, 2010 for the mandatory meeting.  Your ads will be due at this time for the program
book.  Each girl is to sell a minimum of 150.00 worth of ads.  There is a very nice prize for the contestant who sells
the most ads.  But there are no points involved in this.
After we receive your application, entry fee and pictures we will send you a packet of information and a copy of the
contract you will be expected to sign if you would win the title.  

Deadline for entry is June 15, 2010.  You will need to get your  $150.00 non refundable entry fee, application and
(5) 3x5 Colored head and shoulder photos in western attire (1) 3x5 Black and White photo and (1) 8x10 Colored
photo for the photogenic competition all in western attire as soon as you can so that you can get the rest of the
packet.
