McKenna is the daughter of Joe and Kelly Wilmes of Silex, MO.
She has one sister who was Little Miss Rodeo Missouri 2009 and two twin brothers.
McKenna is crazy about Horses, Rodeo and Riding. She is energetic, outgoing, and
excited to be your Miss Teen Rodeo Missouri 2010. Rodeo is a Family Tradition for
her as her grandpa was a rough stock rider. He rode Bulls, Saddle Bronc and
Bareback. He was able to pass on his love for rodeo to McKenna and she would like
to pass it on to others she meets. She is a member of the Silex FFA and the 4 H
Team. She has been riding since she was 8 years old. She rides Western, Hunt Seat,
and Saddle Seat. She would also like to learn to drive a cart as well.
She likes training her horse for Barrel Races and local and regional horse shows.
She also likes to teach them tricks like how to bow.
Her future goals are to continue training on her barrel horse and successfully
competing in Rodeos and Shows over the next several years. She will also be taking
college prep courses and looking toward a future in Equine Veterinary Medicine.
Come and meet McKenna at the local rodeos , parades and other events this summer.
